A special Thank You to Tucalota Creek Ranch and Alan and Kay Needles for their hospitality and use of their beautiful ranch for our NRHA Ride and Slide/School 'em and Fool 'em Event. The event was a success! Alan and Kay Needles opened their barn, and allowed us to taste and enjoy their wines all afternoon.

The CRHA is having a "Western Boutique and Silent Auction" at the Affiliate show #3 and #4 in Burbank! We've already received very nice items to sell: Brighton jewelry and belts, new and gently used show clothes, beautiful blankets, throw pillows & many other items.

Due to rain, the date of the Green As Grass (GAG) Clinic was changed from March 17th to May 5th. All other information about the Clinic is the same.

The CRHA Board has a new Vice President, Mike Berg.
Our previous VP, Johnette Burman, is moving to Texas to continue training reining horses. Johnette has been a loyal CRHA member and supporter for many years and most recently served on the CRHA Board of Directors and was instrumental in getting the Affiliate Finals back to Burbank, CA.
The CRHA wishes GOOD LUCK to Johnette and her husband Chad on their SLIDE to Texas!

The CRHA has introduced a new NRHA entry level program -- the "Ride and Slide". This new program welcomes less experienced reiners (non-pro and professional) to compete with others of the same skill level, while gaining more experience and building confidence in the show pen.

The 2012 NRHA Southwest Affiliate Regional Finals will be held in conjunction with the CRHA Challenge on October 24 - 28, 2012. Check the Show Schedule later this year for schedules & forms.
