A CRHA Hall of Fame committee was formed, a Charter and Induction Criteria were written and approved by the Board and the first two honorees were inducted at the clubŐs Annual Awards Banquet on January 21, 2006.

Joe & Donna King
Joe & Donna King
Joe and Donna's lifetime of achievement in reining and horse training spans more than 50 years.
Their love of horses started at an early age for Donna when she trained with Jack Baker and showed horses with him at the age of 13. For Joe, it began when he met Donna after serving in the Marines and fell in love with this beautiful young lady and her horse. That love of horses grew as they both trained with Jack Baker and then with Mack Lynn. As they showed horses they decided to get married and train horses professionally. They worked on ranches in California, Idaho and Washington perfecting their trade and came back to california where they have worked ever since.
In those 50 years, their dedication and passion for training horses and teaching students has shown in so many ways that it would take a book to list all the winning students and champion horses. From their own achievements as riders, to their accomplishment as teachers and judges, their legacy will live on through their daughter and granddaughter who have also caught the passion for horses.
Not only are they accomplished riders and instructors, but they are also professional judges. Joe was an American Horse Show Association judge as well as Reined Cow Horse judge, and Donna continues to judge N.R.H.A., P.C.H.A. and U.S.E.F. shows. Donna has also recently been approved as an A.Q.H.A. judge.
In addition to her judging responsibilities, Donna also has served on the C.R.H.A board since 1995, served on the P.C.H.A board for the last 4 years, and has served on the U.S.E.F western council for the last Ten years.
Joe and Donna King currently operate their training center at Whittier Narrows Equestrian center, with their daughter Joline, and are very proud of their granddaughter Kailey, and all her riding accomplishments
